A Meal or recipe carried over from last months menu that did not get prepared. No problem though, I already have all the main ingredients to make them which is always a plus.

  2. How do you manage using fresh vegetables and fruit in your meals? Do you make more trips to get the perishable items?

  4. Crazy Lady. Our once a month trip is to get all our main items for the month. Milk, Bread, Fruits and Veggies and other perishables are bought once a week. We go through those items quickly. Our main goal with our dinner menu is so we dont just stare into the cabinet and wonder what to make. This way we have all the ingredients on hand to make each meal. It keeps you from spur of the moment grocery trips or just eating out. I use a lot of frozen veggies or freeze some fresh ones before the go bad.
